#Blessed {5 ways to bless those around you}

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. Arizona is still hot, but thankfully, is starting to cool down. I have been busy with school work and friends, but wanted to take some time to share with you 5 ways you can bless people around you. I think it is important to show people how much you care about them, but sometimes it is hard to figure out what to do! So, here are some things I do to bless those around me.

1. Write an encouraging note.

An easy way to lift someone up is to write them an encouraging note. It doesn't have to be long, but it can be if you choose! Some times if I find an encouraging quote I will send it to a friend just as a little  pick me up. This form of a blessing does not have to be on paper, send someone a message or pick up the phone and call them! You can also read about making a nice card with calligraphy here.

2. Spend some quality time together

Invite a friend over for a cup of tea or coffee and pour into them. Ask them about their life and how they are doing! Encourage them and lift them up with kinds words, and just listen to what they have to say. Make this time about them!

3. Let them pick what fun thing to do.

Next time you want to go out, let your friend pick the thing to do or where to go. This is a small thing, but letting them decide will bring them joy! Even if you don't want to do the activity, do it because you care about them.

4. Give them a small gift

Giving someone a small gift of their favorite thing or something they would like is a wonderful way to bless someone. Showing them you care by spending just a couple dollars can really brighten their day! I suggest candy or a snack, or maybe even some jewelry or a gift card!

5. Pray over them

Something I love doing is praying over people, and having them pray over you. It brings the Lord joy when coming together in the name of Him, and can also bring joy and peace upon your self. You can do this by just sending a quick text or phone call and ask how you can pray for them and be there for them. Whether they are having a hard time or not, it is important to come together in prayer.

I would like to challenge you to show kindness by blessing someone this week. It doesn't have to be anything big, but show people that you care about them! I hope you all have a wonderful week, if you have any questions or comments, leave them below!

XOXO, Sarah Elizabeth
